The Timeline option is available from Excel 2013 version. So, if you use any versions older than from Excel 2013, this fantastic option may not be available in your Excel application.
Timeline is one of the good tool to filter-down your Excel Pivot Table. So, if you have any Pivot Table in your Excel book, make sure to explore the usage of Timeline as soon as you watch this video.
There is an important step before creating a Timeline, which is converting your raw data into an Excel table (ctrl + t) then to Pivot Table. So, convert your raw data into Excel table by hitting ctrl + t to switch your normal data into a structured Excel Table, then convert the table to Pivot Table to explore the Timeline options.
